Our Story
1904
Daniel A. Rollins graduates from Harvard Law and begins practicing law in Brookline, serving as the foundation for Rollins, Rollins & Fox.
From 1922 to 1953, Daniel served as Brookline Municipal Court Judge. He also served on the Brookline Board of Selectmen from 1914 to 1924.
1936
Daniel G. Rollins joins the practice with his father, shortly after his graduation from Harvard Law School in 1936.
Like his father, Daniel also served served on the Brookline Board of Selectmen. Dan as also served as Brookline Town Counsel, counsel to New Seabury Corporation and as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Brookline Cooperative Bank.
1960
Phillip A. Rollins joined the firm with his father upon his graduation from Boston College Law School.
Phillip remained in private practice until 1970 at which time he was elected as District Attorney for Cape Cod. He served as DA for the Cape and Islands for over three decades.
1964
Selma Fox joins the firm. She was as one of the few women graduates of Northeastern University Law School in 1936.
Selma served as counsel to New Seabury Corporation. She represented New Seabury Corporation in the seminal case of Mashpee Tribe v. New Seabury Corp. Despite being adversaries with the Tribe, Selma became dear friends with Wampanoag Chief Earl Mills Sr. (Flying Eagle).
1960
Myron J. Fox, a 1969 graduate of Boston College Law School, joins his mother and stepfather at Rollins, Rollins & Fox.
Myron practiced with Rollins, Rollins and Fox from 1971 until retirement in 2025. While maintaining his private practice and serving as counsel to Brookline Cooperative Bank, Peoples Federal Savings Bank, Rockland Trust Company, and New Seabury Corporation, at differing times, he served on the Sudbury Zoning Board of Appeals and Sudbury Select Board. He also served as Sudbury Town Moderator for many years.
1964
Joshua M. Fox joins the practice after graduating magna cum laude from University of Miami School of Law.
Josh has served as counsel to Brookline Cooperative Bank, Peoples Federal Savings Bank, Rockland Trust Company, New Seabury Corporation and the Herb Chambers Companies. Consistent with the firm’s long-standing commitment to public service, he presently serves as a Commissioner for the Sudbury Water District and as a Member of the Sudbury Board of Assessors. In private practice, he regularly appears before municipal boards and commissions. Bringing matters full circle, he used to work for Wampanoag Tribal Chief Earl Mills Sr. at the Flume Restaurant in Mashpee.
